On August 2, 2006, Watt Systems Technologies Inc. filed a Provisional Patent Application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for "An Object Oriented System and Method of Graphically Displaying and Analyzing Complex Systems".  The patent covers a novel software system that extends upon the science of thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, complexity theory and graph theory by utilizing a hybrid network to represent complex systems under examination.  This network is an n-dimensional hybridization of digraphs, neural networks, and bond graphs embedded in a context space that facilitates modeling, simulation, visualization and measurement of certain metrics of complex, dynamical systems.
